How much does a new roof cost in Essex?
A full re-roof on a typical semi-detached house in Essex usually runs £5,000-£9,000 depending on size, pitch, tile type and whether scaffolding is needed. How long does a flat roof last?
A properly installed EPDM rubber roof should last 25-30 years, and GRP fibreglass around 25 years. Traditional felt is closer to 10-15 years. We fit EPDM and GRP as standard because the whole-life cost is lower even though the up-front price is a little higher.
